Pic Xtratime.in[/caption] Kolkata: Mohun Bagan kept themselves away from the managers’ meeting called by IFA as per schedule. East Bengal sent their manager to attend the meeting ahead of derby scheduled for 7th September. However, the meeting dispersed following the absence of Mohun Bagan. Today, East Bengal field secretary Dipankar Chakraborty (Babu) went to attend the managers’ meeting at the IFA office at due time. All the officials of IFA were also present to conduct the meeting. However, the meeting was dispersed after half an hour as there was nobody present from the Mohun Bagan end. “We came to attend the meeting within due time. We waited according to the norms. But the meeting could not take place”, complained Dipankar Chakraborty. After the dismissal of the meeting, manager from East Bengal part declared that they won’t play the scheduled derby after 7th September as they were ready for the derby on that day. “We have followed all the rules to play the derby. Our team has already reached Kalyani to practice prior to the derby on Wednesday. Now if the day defers from 7th September, we won’t play”, declared Chakraborty.
