Champions Trophy: DPS Megacity School on their way to England to cheer for India

Kolkata: DPS Megacity School has given a chance to its students to watch the ICC Champions Trophy match between India and Sri Lanka. A group of 31 people from DPS Mega city, which comprised 24 kids, 2 teachers and rest of the lot being guides, went from Kolkata to London via Mumbai on June 2 to support India in the prestigious ICC tournament.

The group of 24 kids comprised of 6 girls and 18 boys. The group left for London on the Kolkata-Mumbai-London flight at 3:30am from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport of Kolkata.

The group would be watching the encounter of India and Sri Lanka on June 8 at the Oval.

Apart from this being a cricket based tour, it will also serve as an educational tour for the students as the group would be visiting the famous places of the city like the London Eye, Cadbury World, The Buckingham Palace, Change of guard as well as other places.

The kids will also be taken to the prestigious Oxford University which will serve as a learning experience for them.

The trip is basically for cricket and for backing the Indian team. The concept of the is tour being ‘’For India, From India”.
