India tour of Sri Lanka: Series likely to be pushed back by four days

Xtra Time Web Desk: The upcoming white ball series between India and Sri Lanka is likely to be pushed back by four days. The decision is likely to be taken by Sri Lanka Cricket Board as the cricketers need longer isolation period. The series will now start from July 17 instead of July 13. The three ODIs will be played on July 17, 19 and 21. The dates of the three T20Is are July 24,25 and 27 respectively. Sri Lanka Cricket is likely to make an official announcement soon.

Meanwhile the Sri Lankan selectors have picked a provisional squad for the upcoming series subject to the approval of the Ministry. The side will be led by Dasun Shanaka while Dhananjaya de Silva has been appointed as the vice-captain of the side. Kusal Perera has kept his place in the side after a disastrous tour of England.
