Internet Desk: Indian middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh praised the star British all-rounder Ben Stokes on Thursday, as the exciting left-handed batsman believes that the 25 years old British is a perfect T2O package and will have a great price value in the IPL 10 auction.
“He’s a quality hitter, fast bowler and fielder. He’ll definitely get the big bucks. He brings a lot to the table,” Yuvraj was quoted as saying by BBC.
“If these guys come and play in the IPL, their skills will improve. The more they play in different conditions, the better they will become,” he added.
The Punjab power hitter acknowledged that the India players always loves the fight with the England players during the match.
“I always see Ben and Virat (Kohli) having a go at each other. It’s great for cricket to have passion,” Yuvraj said.
“We always have banter with the English. My old battles were with Andrew Flintoff,” he added.
The flamboyant Yuvi also believes that the IPL will help the standard of the young British cricketers as well. India defeated England in the 3-match T20 series but some English cricketers like Jason Roy, Sam Bilings, Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills performed exceedingly well in the series.
