SAINA NEHWAL
Saina Nehwal (born 17 March 1990) is an Indian Women Badminton player, former world no.1 in Women’s Singles . She is the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics.She achieved this feat by winning the Bronze medal at the London Olympics 2012 on 4 August 2012. She is also the first Indian after Prakash Padukone and the first Indian woman to become world number 1 badminton player. Besides these, she is the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships and was also the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, by clinching the Indonesia Open on 21 June 2009. She won silver at 2015 BWF World Championship becoming the first Indian to do so.

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu (born 5 July 1995) is an Indian badminton player. On 10 August 2013, Sindhu became the first ever Indian Women’s Singles player to win a medal at the World Championships. In 2015, She received India’s fourth highest civilian honor Padma Shri awarded on 30 March 2015.She broke into the top 20 in the Badminton World Federation rankings which were released on 21 September 2012.
KIDAMBI SRIKANTH
Kidambi Srikanth (born 7 February 1993) is an Indian Badminton player and currently the highest ranked Indian men’s player in the international circuit. In the year 2014 China Open Super Series Premier after beating Lin Dan by 21–19 21–17 in the final round, thus becoming the first Indian to win a Super Series Premier Men’s title.

Gwala Gutta (born 7 Septerber 1983) & Ashwini Ponnappa (born 18 September 1989) are Indian Women’s Doubles Badminton players who represents the country at the international badminton circuit. They have a successful partnership as the pair have won many medals in international events including a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, historic bronze at World Championships. The pair have also been consistently ranked among the top 20 in the BWF World Ranking.
