However, there is a concern regarding the intensity of rainfall in the area. Over the past few days, there has been continuous rainfall in the city of Colombo, which has affected India’s practice sessions. Consequently, if rain persists on Sunday, the India-Pakistan match may be rescheduled, as was the case during the group stage of the previous tournament.

In light of this situation, the Asia Cup organizers have made arrangements for a reserve day for the India-Pakistan match. If the match is washed out on Sunday, it will be rescheduled to be played on Monday, September 11th. The match will resume from the point at which it was halted due to rain.
