Internet Desk: Argentina doubled its goal tally by beating Copa America champions Chile 2-1 in Santiago on Thursday. The Albiceleste took a sweet revenge on Chile after their loss in the Copa America last year. Argentina was suffering from a goal drought in the last 4 qualification matches scoring just 2 goals. They had to win this match to stay in the hunt. Felipe Gutierrez opened the scoring for Chile in the 10th minute before Angel Di Maria got the equaliser in the 19th minute. Gabriel Mercado scored the winner dor Argentina a few minutes later.
In another match, Bolivia curled through Colombia 3-2 with the winner coming in the stoppage time of the second half. James Rodriguez and Carlos Bacca were on the scoresheet for Colombia but could not see their side home.
