KOLKATA : Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be the co-owner of IPTL franchise OUE Singapore Slammers . Mr Bachchan will join local company UD Group , who was the principal owner last year . Big B will be at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on December 20 to cheer his new team on the final day of the season . The OUE Singapore Slammers , are one of the five teams competing in the second edition of the Coca-Cola IPTL . Singapore will host the final leg of the tournament from December 18-20 .
A massive sports enthusiast , Mr Bachchan is quite exited to be associated with the Slammers . The Bachchans have been passionate about sports . Son Abhishek Bachchan have been associated with ISL team Chennaiyin FC and Pro Kabaddi team Jaipur Panthers . Both Amitabh and Abhishek were seen at matches involving these two teams .
“My work schedule allows me to only be there for one day, but I’m confident the Singapore Slammers will be playing in the final. I’m also really looking forward to hanging out with members of our clan, the #SlammersNation,” Bachchan said in a press release.
