XtraTime Web Desk: I league match got rescheduled as Kolkata giants East Bengal will face Shillong Lajong FC at Shillong on 5 th March and table toppers Neroca Fc on 8 th March. Minerva Punjab will play their last match on 8 th March at the same time against Churchill Brothers when Red and Gold will encounter the current table toppers. Both the matches will start from 3 P.M.
Not only Minerva Punjab FC but also East Bengal and Neroca FC are also in the title race. It has been a roller coaster ride for the top I League teams and probably that is why Neroca FC appealed to AIFF on Monday while Federation league subcommittee meeting was going on to change the fixtures and reschedule their last match in the final day of the I League as it going to be a title decider match. Meanwhile, Neroca FC got 31 points in 17 matches. Minerva Punjab played 15 matches and got 29 points. East Bengal third in the list with 26 points in 15 matches.
Another Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan also applied to reschedule their matches as they looking to be on top six to qualify for the upcoming Super Cup.
