Xtra Time Web Desk : ATK Mohun Bagan on Tuesday sealed a comfortable 3-1 win over Bangladesh’s Abahani Dhaka Limited in the playoffs of the AFC Cup 2022, courtesy of a David Williams hat-trick.
Scoring two early first half goals, Australian David Williams completed his hat-trick to put the game to bed, with five minutes left on the clock.
Abahani Dhaka although put one goal back on the 61st minute of the game but it wasn’t enough for them to salvage something from the match.
With this win, ATK Mohun Bagan are now in group D of the AFC Cup main round, which will run from 18 May to 30 June. The Mariners would be joined by Gokulam Kerala, Bashundhara Kings, and Maziya in their group.
