Barasat: East Bengal coach Khalid Jamil today went to Barasat Stadium to watch the game between Mohun Bagan and Churchill Brothers.
He went straight into the room of the Match Commissioner to watch the game but the commissioner didn’t allow him inside his room and asked whether he has a valid ticket or not.
After knowing the fact that, Khalid has come to watch the game Bagan officials approached to him and requested him to sit with the VIPs, but he rejected their offer. On being asked about the matter, Mohun Bagan Finance Secretary Debashish Dutta said,” He didn’t inform us that he would come to watch the game. After knowing that he had arrived at the stadium, we had requested him to watch the game at VIP. But he denied to sit there and went to some where.”
Earlier Mohun Bagan Assistant Coach Shankarlal Chakraborty too went to watch a game of East Bengal. The Red & Gold officials arranged VIP sit for him on that time.
