Xtra Time Web Desk : Team India Test skipper Virat Kohli recently hasn't been in the best of form. The 33 year old has not crossed the century mark for the last couple of years since his last international ton came against Bangladesh in the Pink Ball Test at Eden Gardens back in November 2019. Since then the former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain has had a lean phase both in Test cricket and the limited format game. But now, current Australia superstar opener David Warner has come out fully in support of the Delhi batter.

In a recent interview with Boria Majumdar on his show, 'Backstage With Boria', Warner said," A lot of people talk about Virat Kohli's form over the last couple of years. But we've gone through a pandemic… he's just had a baby, you know. We only see how well he's done… You're allowed to fail. You are allowed to fail. You earn the right to fail when you're so good at what you do."

Now, with cricketers like David Warner coming out openly in support of Virat apart from his fans, it would be interesting to see how he rediscovers his form and if he is able to reach that elusive century in South Africa. However, Kohli's presence is absolutely going to be vital for Team India if they are to claim the Test and also the ODI series.
