WTC Final, Day 2: Virat Kohli trolled after a photo of him eating in dressing room goes viral
Xtra Time Web Desk: The star-studded Indian batting line up failed to live up to the expectation on Day 2 of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship final here at the Oval. Rohit and his boys are 151/5 at stumps on Day 2 after Australia posted a mammoth 469 in the first innings.
The fans were left unimpressed by captain Rohit Sharma (15), as well as star batter Virat Kohli (14), who looked in good touch before they threw away their wickets. Virat was brutally trolled on social media after a photo of him having meal in the dressing room went viral. He was alos spotted having a laugh with Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and batting coach Vikram Rathour which did not go down well among the fans. Immediately they started attacking Virat on social media platforms which was grossly unfair.
Kohli was out to an unplayable delivery from Mitchell Starc that moved from a length and took an edge on to the second slip, where Steve Smith took an overhead catch. The star Indian batter could only manage 14 runs off 31 balls.
India reached 151 for five at stumps on the second day of the World Test Championship Final against Australia on Thursday, trailing their opponents by 318 runs in the first innings.
