Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar has suggested the first eleven for India, which has garnered significant attention.

Sunil Gavaskar stated, “For the opening positions, I would choose Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Cheteshwar Pujara would bat at number three, followed by Virat Kohli at number four and Ajinkya Rahane at number five.”

He has selected K.S. Bharat as the wicket-keeper for the team. Gavaskar’s brilliance extends to the bowling options as well! He said, “Since Bharat has played the previous matches, I would place him at number six. Ravindra Jadeja will be at number seven. And if the conditions are favorable, Ravichandran Ashwin will play at number eight. At number nine, ten and eleven, we will have Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Shardul Thakur.”
