XtraTime Web Desk: Freestyle wrestler, Bajrang Punia attains a marvellous landmark  by moving up in 2nd position in the latest Wrestling Rankings under 65 Kg category.

The Arjuna award recipient  secured his best ever rank in his Freestyle wrestling career and he’ll be one of the main contenders to bring the Gold for India in the upcoming Asian Games. Four years ago in Incheon,  Punia was just shy of a podium finish, as he had to settle down with a Silver  in the 61 Kg category.

Bajrang has a scintillating record in recent times, winning last 5 out of 6 tournaments he competed in. His latest triumph came in the Yasar Dogu International tournament in Turkey,  where he wrestled in the 71 Kg category.

The 24 year old added another feather to his cap, which includes the likes of a Bronze medal in the 2013 World Championships (60 Kg), Gold in Commonwealth Games earlier this year and a Gold in the Asian Championships last year and many more accolades.
