Son of an auto driver, Siraj is definitely one of the most promising emerging cricketers of IPL 10. The 23 year old medium fast bowler raised quite a few eye brows when he was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 2.6 crores. The talented and hard working cricketer has not let down his franchise owners and team management so far with his performance. The medium fast bowler has so far claimed 6 wickets in 4 matches, including a best performance of 2/26 against Kolkata Knight Riders. The Hyderabadi cricketer perhaps got the biggest accolade from his captain David Warner. The Sunrisers Hyderabad captain reckons the 23 year old bowler is the find of the season. In an interview to IPLT20.com, Warner said, “Siraj is learning on the go and that is what we expect. It is fantastic. That is the quality of this Sunrisers unit. We are not harsh critics but we allow the guys to get chances and the way he has come out and taken his chances is fantastic.” Siraj has impressed everyone with his pace and accuracy. He has made full use of the opportunities given to him.
