Image Source: IPL[/caption] Internet Desk: Kolkata Knight Riders chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav on Wednesday foxed MS Dhoni with a brilliant wrong one, prompting him to step down and hit him, only to miss it and get stumped. The 22 year old turned the match in favour of KKR in the 18th over, by picking the wickets of Dhoni and in-form Manoj Tiwary. Kuldeep later admitted that he was not shy of bowling a wrong one. “To be very honest, it was a very important wicket for us. Obviously getting rid of MS bhai gave me joy. Had he stayed at the crease a little longer then the scores would have soared in the last couple of overs. It was a challenge for me to get Dhoni bhai out at that time. Iwas not intimidated with his presence at the wicket. I was trying to get Dhoni bhai out rather than feeling afraid of being hit for a six or a four,” said Kuldeep. The KKR bowler takes pride in being called the chinaman bowler. “I really believe in my chinaman bowling, rather than the wrong one or the flipper.I back it more as I am known for my chinaman. Wrong one is just a variation. You use it while trying to pick wickets or to save runs,” said Kuldeep. Kuldeep also credited Gambhir for giving him the confidence to bowl with a lot of freedom. According to Kuldeep, “Obviously when you are a spinner, you are under pressure. As a spinner I believe that if you pick wickets, the opposition is under pressure. When I picked two wickets in my final over, they were under pressure. Bowling the 18th over is always tough. It is important for the captain to have belief in you.” He added, “He (Gauti Bhai) is a very aggressive captain and keeps constant pressure on the opponent batsmen. He always backs his spinners. As a young spinner I feel a lot confident while bowling as I know I have the backing of my captain.” The youngster has given more options to his captain by doing a pretty decent job whenever being called to bowl. His consistent performance has forced the KKR management to keep Shakib al Hasan in the dugout. “He (Shakib) is a world class spinner. It is good for a youngster like me because you can learn so many things by just watching him bowl at the nets. Shakib bhai always discuss with me about my bowling in the nets,” signs off the teenage spin sensation.
