File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: All eyes will be on Sunday’s Special General Meeting of the BCCI as some of the state units are planning to propose the name of former BCCI President N Srinivasan to represent the board in ICC meetings. Few state units seem to be at war footing with the COA despite their stiff opposition to see the back of Srinivasan. None of the four members of the Committee of Administrators (COA) will be present though for the SGM. The meeting will be headed by BCCI CEO Rahul Johri. The 72 year old business magnet is hosting a dinner in the capital for the BCCI state units for dinner with suspense still continuing over whether he will enter the Special General Meeting, scheduled tomorrow. As per Supreme Court order, if the 72-year-old Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) strongman takes part in the SGM, it could lead to contempt of court and violation of Lodha reforms. Although Srinivasan will not be allowed to attend the meeting, but he will have a fair control over the proceedings through his deemed loyalists -- joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhary and treasurer Aniruddh Chaudhry. It will be interesting to see if the matter is put to a floor test as there might be stiff opposition from a number of state associations. Another question is the number of state associations which will be attending the meeting. The likes of Vidarbha Cricket Association, which has already conformed to the changes as per Lodha reforms, may object to Srinivasan's name. The apex court is scheduled to hear the COA plea seeking directive on BCCI's ICC nominee on Monday. The primary issue of the six-point agenda for the meeting is appointment of Board's "representative or representatives to the meeting of International Cricket Council and/or similar conferences." According to a well-informed source, the Srinivasan coterie will go all out to push his case and probably get his name passed and wait till the Supreme Court gives its directions on COA plea.
