Fiery teenage batsman Sarfarz Khan sustained a leg injury during RCB’s practice session on Monday and will miss the entire season. "Owing to a leg injury during the final Bangalore based practice match session, Sarfaraz Khan will most likely be unavailable to play as a part of the RCB squad this IPL and we are evaluating the same with the BCCI," RCB head coach Daniel Vettori said. Sarfarz was a strong contender to open the batting with Chris Gayle in absence of skipper Virat Kohli, who will miss the first few matches as he is recovering from his shoulder injury. "His absence will be definitely felt on-field and we wish him a speedy recovery," Vettori said. Sarfaraz is the fourth player to be added in RCB’s list of injured players. India opener KL Rahul has already been ruled out of the entire IPL season 10 as he will undergo a surgery in London in afew days time. On the other hand South Africa’s destructive batsman AB de Villiers will miss the IPL 10 opener against last season champions Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday. AB got a back injury few days back during a South African domestic game and is expected to play from the second match against Delhi Daredevils at Bengaluru’s home ground on Saturday. "We hope to see him on the field in good form by the 8th April against Delhi Daredevils."
