Image Source: twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: The ongoing series between India and Australia is never short of controversies. And latest to the list of controversies is the Australian captain being captured on camera calling India batsman Murali Vijay a "f***ing cheat". TV replays clearly caught Smith uttering “f****ing cheat” in the dressing room, out of frustration with the gesture from Murali Vijay, who appealed for a catch off Hazzlewood, went straight into the dressing room knowing that he has to bat soon. Half of the Indian side was also started walking back before being called back by the on field umpires.

Vijay too made his way back on the field visibly distraught. He quickly signaled to his teammates that he had fingers underneath it. The decision was not going to change though. But as the Indian fielders were taking their positions, Smith was caught on the camera saying the words "f***ing cheat". The video quickly went viral on social media. Interestingly, the not-out decision didn't had any impact on the match as Hazlewood was dismissed in the same over and only a ball later by Ashwin. The series had its fair share of controversies with both on and off the field, grabbing headlines across both the countries and throughout the cricket world. It all started with Aussie captain’s “DRS Brain Fade" comment in Bangalore. Indian captain Kohli reacted to it by stopping short of calling the Australians “cheat. The matters went so worse that the ICC had to broker peace between the teams. The Indian board had to withdraw their official complaint against Smith. The third Test in Ranchi saw another round of controversy after Kohli's shoulder injury. Glenn Maxwell kicked up a storm by mocking the Indian captain. To make matters worse, a section of the Australian media started comparing Kohli to US President Donald Trump. It obviously did not go down well with the Indians. And the latest controversy to hit the series, which is into its last stage in Dharamsala, is Smith being captured on camera calling India batsman Murali Vijay a "f***ing cheat". Overall the series will be remembered more for its share of controversies rather than the even contest between bat and ball between the two teams.
