Image Source: twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: Indian cricket team to get a new post in their coinage, as a news of promotion for the current Team India coach as Anil Kumble is likely to assume and that is the designation of 'Team Director'. The decision came immediately after the Supreme Court formed Committee of Administrators, The COA sought to change the coaching hierarchy similar to what England and Wales Cricket Board possess. “We need to move ahead with the times and that is why these structural changes are looked at. If it happens, Indian cricket will benefit, as one person will handle all the teams and there will be better coordination between all concerned. The plan is already in place and there is a strong possibility that when new contracts are given out, these changes will be made,” board sources told the media. Even though, it is quite different from the vision put forth by Coach Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid, it is understandable that The COA is keen on this change. The Indian coach has been given time to give this decision a thought as it would ask more time than that he spends with the senior national team. If the legendary leg-spinner accepts the post, then Rahul Dravid is the most likely candidate to replace him as senior team coach. It has been earlier reported that "The Wall" was indeed given this offer which he had denied. "It actually quite early to speak about this situation. Being both the coach and team director is indeed a hectic job and needs immense dedication. And with the schedule we have he is likely to get exhausted. Thus we need a back-up option, particularly with the Champions Trophy being round the corner,” the source further added.
