Today, in the training session, East Bengal defender Gurwinder Singh made a rough tackle on ace forward Robin Singh and that forced him to sit out of the training immediately. There were some concerns about him but later, after the training, Coach Trevor Morgan stated, "Robin is 6ft 2 inches tall and his weight is 90kgs, he is a strong lad and he is going to Chennai with us." East Bengal is likely to change their defensive organizations against Chennai City as Narayan Das will probably get a start on the left fullback position in place of Robert and Rahul Bheke too seems to be regaining back his position on the right. Central defender Gurwinder Singh too will return in the central defense alongside Ivan Bukenya. National team midfielder Jackichand Singh is going back home as his mother is not well. Trevor said, "Jacki has been really concerned about his mother as she is ill and we are allowing him to go back to his place." The classy winger, psychologically has not been in a good state for the last few weeks and the East Bengal coach is giving full mental support to him. The East Bengal gaffer mentioned that apart from Wedson Anselme and Cavin Lobo, all the players are fit in his team. He said, "Wedson are Lobo are injured. The rest are fit. Wedson will regain his full fitness during the break we will get after the Chennai game." The coach also mentioned, "We have respective plans for all the teams we play and we train accordingly. We have to go and play our game. It won't be easy to beat Chennai. As I told before as well, all the teams this season have the strength to beat the top teams of the points table. Now it's our players duty to perform." Before signing off, Trevor said, "We have to get back to the winning ways from this match and we will try our best to do that."
