File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: BCCI medical team confirms that India wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha developed a strain in his left thigh during the second match of the five match Paytm Test Series-2016, played against England at Visakhapatnam. As a precautionary measure, Saha has been advised rest and will not play in the next Test match of the series. Parthiv Patel will replace Saha in the Indian team for the third Test to be played from November 26, 2016, at Mohali. The Gujarat keeper last played for India in test's was against Sri Lanka back in 2008. Meanwhile, the left-hander was not part of any types of International cricket since his last tour against England in 2011. In 20 Test matches, Parthiv has scored 683 runs with an average of 29.69. He has four test half centuries to his kitty in white jersey. Parthiv has started wonderfully his 2016-17 Ranji Trophy season with Gujarat. He has scored 415 runs with an average of 59.28, with three fifties and a hundred. Yesterday India stumper Wriddhiman Saha was taken to a hospital in Chandigarh. Saha injured his left thigh while keeping in the second test at Vizag. The wicket keeper from Bengal was taken to a hospital along with Md Shami as a precautionary measure. Although he is having a lackluster series so far, but his smart work behind the stumps to run out Hasseb Hameed in Vizag was widely praised. He did a Dhoni while inflicting the dismissal as he back flicked with one action to break the stumps. Dhoni was involved in a similar dismissal in the fourth ODI against New Zealand to dismiss Ross Taylor. It was a crucial breakthrough as both Cook and Hameed looked set for a big score. The England and India teams reached Chandigarh on Tuesday to take part in the third test of the series which gets under way at the PCA stadium from Saturday.
