It was PM Modi who launched this campaign two years back on October 2, 2014 and from then, there has been an enormous awareness being spread all over the nation in order to make the nation clean as much as possible. PM Modi urged celebrities and famous personalities of the nation to come forwards take part in this initiative to set example. This is probably the most popular campaign by PM Modi so far. Kohli was seen taking part in this noble cause along with vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteswar Pujara. Their initiative was captured and telecasted by almost every news channels and PM Modi got to know about this through one of those channel. Prime Minister responded immediately and praised Kohli for his initiative by tweeting from his official Twitter account.
