Picture : Twitter@atleticodepinto[/caption] Internet Desk: Dark clouds over Atletico de Kolkata, as they suffered a defeat in their very first game of the pre-season training at Madrid. The Kolkata franchise suffered further blows as their star foreign recruits Ofentse Nato and Stephen Pearson are pricked by injuries. They were suffered by another blow as their ace forward, former Canadian international Iain Hume was physically ill prior to their first game of the pre-season. The first champions of the Hero ISL conceded two casual goals in the first half as the local Spanish club Atletico de Pinto were leading by 2-0. The second half saw another setback as ATK defender Tiri conceded a penalty which allowed the home side to take a 3-0 lead. ATK showed a lot of character as they started a phenomenal come back to reduce the margin through Javi Lara from the penalty spot in the 66th minute. Though the home side scored another goal to make it 4-1. Atletico de Kolkata didn't lose heart as they scored two quick goals in the 82nd and 90th minutes by Beloncoso and Sameehg Doutie respectively to reduce the margin. The seven-goal thriller ended in a 3-4 defeat for the Kolkata franchise. But the never-say-die attitude would certainly please the new ATK boss Jose Molina ahead of the season 3.
