Pic twitter.com[/caption] Internet Desk: England passed the world record of highest ODI total by just one run scoring 444 for three wickets. Winning this match they also won the series against Pakistan two matches ahead of the completion of the series. Pakistan lost by a huge margin as England bowlers grabbed all the wickets of Pakistan by 275runs. Only remarkable performance from the Pakistan batting part was the 58 of Mohammad Amir at the last wicket. Previously Sri Lanka hold the record of highest score of ODI with 443runs. Yesterday England passed the score by only one run. Sri Lanka scored the run against Netherland, whereas the present world no.5 scored the run against the recent test cricket top ranking team. The record books took a jolt at Trent Bridge, where Alex Hales (171) first delighted his home crowd by hitting England's highest individual score and then Jos Buttler (90no) smashed their fastest 50 - from 22 balls. The highest total score was a result of total team effort. The smashing, which was started by Hales, was ended by Buttler and Morgan. Together with Joe Root (85) Hales put on 248 for the second wicket. Both Hales and Root fell in quick succession to leave England 283 for three in 38 overs. But an unbroken stand of 161 in 76 balls between Jos Buttler (90 not out) and captain Eoin Morgan (57 not out) ensured the runs just kept coming. Amidst all the records made by the England batting side Pakistan had also a record as Amir scored the highest 11th wicket run of 58(28). Pakistan at the beginning of their batting innings was looking a little defensive. Opener Sharjeel Khan scored 58 out of 30balls. But the trailing batsmen failed to take the pressure of the big target. However, after this win the England team does not want to stop as man-of-the match Alex Hales said, "It's pleasing to have won the series after three games but we want to be ruthless and win it five-nil”. The disappointed Pakistan skipper Azhar Ali said, "I think it was an exceptional innings from Alex Hales and Jos Buttler. On a wicket like this you really need to support the bowlers and that didn't happen."
