It was such a splendid match Sania played that it seemed that the opponents were very easy. After the first round match in the quarterfinal also Sania pairing with Romanian Monica, earned an easy win. They won the match by 6-1 6-4 against Coratia and Australian pair of Darija Jurak and Anastasia Rodionova. Now they are one match away from winning the Connecticut Open. In the semi-final they will face the Slovenian pair of Andreja Klepač and Katarina Srebotnik.
