Pic Twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: It was her dream to win a Medal at the greatest show on earth. So she left her first choice. Travelled with patients. And at last it is a Silver for her. Sunette Viljoen. A known name in South African cricket. But from now she will be known as an Olympic Silver Medalist. The 32years old South African got the sixth Silver Medal for her country. On Thursday night in Brazil, Viljoen’s best throw of 64.92 metres earned her the Silver. She finished second behind Croatia's Sara Kolak, with her best throw of 64.92 metres compared to Kolak's 66.18 metres. Before making this history Viljoen was an athlete but better known as an all-rounder of South African cricket squad. Viljoen made her international cricket debut for South Africa in June 2000. She was 17 years and 10 days old at the time, becoming the youngest woman to play ODI cricket for South Africa. She was selected in the South African squad for the 2000 Women's World Cup in New Zealand. A right-handed all-rounder, she appeared in all eight of her team's matches at the tournament. The all-rounder played one Test and 17 ODIs for her country. However, she changed her path and chose athletics. She had come agonisingly close to winning a medal at the London 2012 Olympics but finished fourth with a best throw of 64.53 metres, behind Germany's Linda Stahl, who finished third with 64.91.
