Image Source: Twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: Arsenal have completed at least one signing that should get fans excited. Gunners legend Robert Pires confirmed on social media that his 7-year-old son, Theo, has officially joined the club's Hale End academy. Pires posted a photo of Theo putting pen to paper, with the caption: "Proud of Theo!"

Pires was a key part of Arsenal's midfield from 2000 to 2006, helping them win two league titles and three FA Cups. The Frenchman scored 84 goals in 284 appearances for the Gunners, and was voted the club's sixth best player ever by fans. Those are big shoes to fill for young Theo, but it seems from this video that he has inherited some of his father's skills. Arsenal are close to making a slightly bigger-profile signing, with a club source telling ESPN FC on Saturday that they hope to finalise a deal for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka soon.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBAvBQcl9a4
