Nagjee Trophy : Atletico Paranaense To Meet Watford FC In The Opener

Image Source : twitter[/caption] Kolkata : Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense will meet English side Watford FC in the opener of the Nagjee International Club Football Tournament which gets underway on 5th February . Both the clubs are placed in Group A along with Romanian Club FC Rapid Bucharest and FC Dnipro Dnipropetrousk from Ukraine . Argentinian U’23 squad will be facing TSV 1860 Munchen of Germany in the first Group B encounter on 6th February . Group B consists of Argentina U’23 side , TSV 1860 Munchen of Germany , Irish club Shamrock Rovers FC and FC Volyn Lutsk of Ukraine . There will be matches on all days with a rest day before the two semi finals on 18th and 19TH February respectively . There is another rest day on February 20 before the all important final . The detailed fixture are given below : The Nagjee Trophy is returning after a 20 year gap with much fan fare and hype . Top teams from across the world featuring the National Under-23 side of Argentina along with Hertha Berlin, 1860 Munich, Rapid Bucharest, Watford, and Atletico Parananense of Brazil will be seen in action . Shamrock Rovers of the Republic of Ireland shall also participate in this tournament . The tournament was inaugurated by former World Cup winning Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho , who is also the brand ambassador of the tournament . The tournament will be conducted in Kozhikode, Kerala and the final shall take place 21 February at the EMS Stadium.
