Image Source : Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata : Kolkata giants East Bengal will be wary about their next opponents in I League  DSK Shivajians . The Red and Gold will be taking on the I League debutants at Barasat stadium on Tuesday . East Bengal coach Biswajit Bhattacharya did not hide his concern ahead of the match . But his only relief  is the match will be played at home ,“ It’s always difficult to be up against an unknown opponent . We do not have much idea about them as we have not got enough opportunities to assess them . It will be difficult for me to comment on their strengths and weaknesses . But the only good thing for us we will be playing at our home . ” While the Red and Gold managed to pick a point in the eponymous Kolkata Derby against bitter rivals Mohun Bagan, DSK were defeated away from home against Aizawl FC. The away side had started off against Sporting clube de Goa with a goal less draw in Goa but could not earn a point in Mizoram. East Bengal are four points behind Bengaluru FC , who will be the next opponent for Red and Gold . The Blues are due to meet  East Bengal on January 30 . Ranty Martins emphasized on not losing a point in their next five home matches , “We need to take the home advantage if we seriously want to be the title contenders . We need to take one match at a time .” East Bengal’s Nigerian goal machine is already facing a stiff contest from Mohun Bagan’s Cornell Glen . Glen have already scored 4 goals so far , while Ranty have been lucky to find the net on three occasions . Ranty is enjoying the battle for the top scorer “ It’s always good to have a healthy competition . Last season I managed to beat him for the top scorer in I League .” DSK Shivajians veteran coach Derrick Pereira conceded that it won’t be easy to earn a point against East Bengal especially after they put up a good display in the Kolkata Derby. Pereira will persist with Aser Dipanda in attack while maintaining a 4-5-1 formation with Milan Singh in midfield along with Douhou Pierre marshalling the midfield. The Red and Gold brigade will be all fired up after putting up a gallant display against Mohun Bagan. Biswajit Bhattacharya did not want to discount DSK Shivajians and said, “I am good friends with Derrick (Pereira) and they are a tough team. We have to be at our prime form to clinch a win against them.” Arnab Mondal will look to partner with Bello Rasaq at the back while Do Dong Hyun will link up with Ranti Martins up front. Biswajit was relieved as Cavin Lobo is showing good sign of recovery and he is likely to feature in the starting lineup tomorrow. While Derrick Pereira will look to garner his first three points, East Bengal need to make the most of their home matches to prove themselves to challenge for the title this season. “ I was planning to watch East Bengal play Mohun Bagan in the derby , but was late to arrive in the city . East Bengal are one of the title contenders for me . Will look to get 1 point , but 3 points will be a bonus . ” said Pereira . DSK Shivajians will be handicapped with a slight injury to their Afghan  defender Amiri . But the Shivajians coach have confirmed he will take the field against Red and Gold . With the likes of  Subrata Paul , Md Rafi , Justin Stephen , Israel Gurung along with  foreigners Zohib Islam Amiri , Douhou Pierre and Cameroonian striker Aser Pierrick Dipanda , one can expect a interesting battle on the cards . Meanwhile AIFF have requested East Bengal club to release 5 players for the forthcoming South Asian Games . The club have decided to release  Samad Ali and Nikhil Pujari only .
