Image Source: m.dailyhunt.in[/caption] Internet Desk: Australian captain Steve Smith is not sure whether he is one of the two players that Kohli did not want to be friends with. Steve, who is back in India to lead Rising Pune Supergiant in the forthcoming edition of IPL, was responding to a question from media at a function in Pune. He was referring to the tweet from Kohli this morning. Kohli tweeted, “Only couple of individuals. I continue to be in good terms with the few guys I know and who I have played with at RCB and that doesn’t change.” Asked if he was among the “couple of individuals” Virat meant in his tweet, Smith jokingly replied, "That is for Virat Kohli to decide if I am one of them. India outplayed us 2-1 in the Test series and I have moved on. Now I am excited to take over the reins of Rising Pune Supergiant." Smith will be taking over the captaincy of Rising Pune Supergiant from India’s most successful captain MS Dhoni. But the Australian captain made it pretty clear about the fact that he wants to lead the team in his own style. There will be no short of suggestions and opinions as Smith will have three captains in the team in Dhoni, Faf du Plesis and Ajinkya Rahane. "I have plenty of guys to talk to, but I will not seek too many opinions. Seeking too many opinions can cloud your own judgement. I want to try and stay as clear as possible. But yes, if someone sees something and feels the need to point it out to me, they are more than welcome," He further added, "It is great to have so many leaders in the team from around the world and i believe it will make my job easier. There should be no hindrance," he said. On being asked whether he had a word with Dhoni after taking over the captaincy of RPSG, Smith admitted, "We have shared a few messages and MS has been very supportive and there are no issues there. I don't think our professional relation will have any effect post the change of captaincy." The Australian captain felt both Rahane and Virat are contrasting personalities. "They are very different people and I have already spoken about it. Ajinkya Rahane is very calm and cool while Virat Kohli likes to show emotions and is aggressive by nature. That is all I will give you." The Australian captain also refused to get back into the reason behind him apologising to the Indians at the end of the fourth Test. "It is done and dusted and let us leave all that behind. Let us think about the IPL, don't want to talk about why I apologised after the Dharamsala Test," he signed off. Lastly, talking about how big a platform the IPL is for the youngsters, Smith admitted, "IPL has been very beneficial not just to me, but also to a lot of young international stars. The honour of sharing the dressing room with the experienced International stars and also to learn about the game from them is a huge bonus. It gets me really excited."

Not sure if Kohli was hinting at me in his tweet, says Steve Smith
