Kolkata : The Hero Indian Super League is going towards the business end of the group league matches. Marcelo Pereira (Delhi Dynamos): Undoubtedly the most influential and eye-catching foreigner so far in the Season Three of the Hero Indian Super League. The Brazilian had his youth career in a club like Atletico Madrid and his captivating skills have already enthralled the fans who are watching the ISL. In his very first appearance, he scored a brace in the ISL and has scored 5 goals in the league so far in 9 appearances. A genuine game-changer, and so far has acted as a catalyst for the recent success of Zambrotta's side this season.
Apoula Edel Bete (FC Pune City): The Cameroon-born Armenia goalkeeper has the unique record of having started in two winning finals of the ISL, winning the first in 2014 with Atletico de Kolkata without conceding a single goal in 300 minutes of the playoffs. He also made a serious impact to help Chennaiyin win six of their last seven matches in the season 2, including a record five on the bounce. At the end of the season, he had six clean sheets to his name which won him the golden glove award.
