Image: Twitter[/caption] Internet Desk : Algeria’s Abdellatif Baka secured an unbelieveable win in men’s 1500m final in the T13 class at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games on Sundayevening . The event became more special as the top four athletes registered the moment that would have secured them the gold at the Rio Olympics 2016 , if they had participated in the 1500 metrerun in that event . Beka set a world record off three minutes and 48.29 seconds to claim the record breaking Gold Medal . He managed to outrun Ethiopia’s Tamiru Demisse , who bagged silver in 3.48.49 . Kenya’s Henry Kirwa finished at third with a bronze ahead of Algeria’s Fouad Baka ( Abdellatif’s brother ) who crossed the line in 3.49.84 . Inside the same stadium during the month of August Olympic Games , USA’s Matthew Centrowiz won Gold in 3.50.00 mnts in the 1500m race . The American Gold medalist who was the surprise winner in the slowest gold medal winning time in the 1500m race at the Olympics since 1932 said , “ I was actually prepared for a fast race . I thought if it wasn’t fast from the get – go , someone would take it in the middle ,” according to abc .net .au . The  T13 classification is for runners who are constitutionally blind but own the least visual damage . As an example, the events are classified under T11 , T12 & T13 . The higher the number , the lesser the damage, according to the Rio Olympics website . Gold medal winner Baka, when asked about his triumph, told  Rio 2016 website "It wasn't easy to get this gold medal. "I've been working one or two years non-stop and it's been very, very hard for me.” In our socity many people thinks physical illness is a maledication , but despite being visually damaged these sprinters have shown us that with the will power the Paralympians are not only close but can actually be better than than the Olympians.
