File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: Archer Atanu Das failed to advance in the men’s individual event at the Rio 2016 Olympics after failing to go past world number five Korean archer Seengy-un Lee. With Das’ result, Indian archers failed to return with a medal from the Games. Das began his game on a promising note but Lee was superior who shot a perfect thirty to win the first set. In the second set, Lee hit one arrow at eight and Das showed consistency to win it. This tied the game at 2-2. The third ended in a tie at 27 points each and Das remained in contention of winning the match. He wasted a golden opportunity in the third set when Lee had finished with eight on the last arrow and Das had to hit a nine to win it. But he also hit an eight to tie it. Lee came up with a 10 on the third arrow of fourth set and won the set 28-27. IN the final set, Das needed to win the game but he could only tie it to bow out of the competition.
