Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly who celebrated his 20th anniversary of his debut test century at Lords few days back attended a talk show in a school at Kolkata today. Sourav answered a lot of questions on various issue during the talk show. Following are excerpts: Q: You dropped Anil Kumble from the final XI against Australia during the the final of the 2003 World Cup in South Africa. Selecting him as the coach of the national team, did you pay him back? Sourav: The very next day after Anil's appointment as India's head coach, I had seen a interview of Anil in a daily newspaper where he mentioned that after representing India for so many years in international level, he lead India for only one year. This is the answer for your question.  Kumble is the biggest match winner on any day. I am saying this keeping in mind what Sachin had achieved for India. Kumble is the right person to coach India at this moment of time. I do not want to say anything much then it will be a headline again. Q: So many biopics are being made on sports persons. Do you have any such plans in the future? Sourav: You are talking about biopic, I had offers of acting too. Renowned film director once offered to play the role of Feluda. But I denied as that is not my job. But if you talk about Biopic, I will not deny the fact as I too want a film on my life. But you cannot show all in detail in the film, then at the age of 43 I will be under pressure (laughs). Q: How do you define yourself? To be precise how do you rate yourself between talent and fighting spirit. Sourav: I am 40% talented and the rest is my fighting ability. I faced the likes of McGrath, Gillespie, Lee and Warne in all kind of tracks as well as the likes of Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib. To face these kind of bowlers only talent does not help you you need the fighting ability. Q: How do you rate Virat Kohli's aggression? Sourav: I see the reflection of my playing days captain in Virat. He wants to win every match which I tried to possess when I captained India. I believe that Virat will lead in all formats very soon. Q: What would be your tips for youngsters who are just learning the basics of cricket in the era of T20 and IPL? Sourav: First and foremost, they need to get the basics right. In the era of IPL and T20, you need to make your basics right. If your basics are strong, you can survive in any format. The best example is Virat Kohli,  how devastating he was during this year's IPL without playing a unorthodox shot. Q: Whom do you admire as captain? Sourav: Maradona is my all time favourite sports personality. But I admire Steve Waugh as captain. Everybody talks about the incident which happened during the toss time in Kolkata where I kept Steve Waugh waiting. But let me share a incident which is little humerous. During the 2003-04 tour of Australia the day before the Brisbane test we met each other in the referee's meeting. After the meeting, I could realize that Steve wanted to say something. After I reached the dressing room, I was handed a piece of paper from a staff. Steve wanted to meet me. When I met Steve, he told me that can he expect me on time on the match day at toss. I replied to Steve that I know you write columns for Sydney Morning Herald. If you write something good about my team then you can expect me on time at the toss.
