Xtra Time Web Desk: Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni on Friday was seen in the role of throw down specialist during Team India’s training session at the ICC academy in Dubai ahead of the all-important clash against Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2021 on October 24.

Indian cricketers sweated out in the nets at ICC academy and is making sure they leave no stone unturned for the opening clash. All-rounder Hardik Pandya underwent a fitness test and was seen doing some strength training.

Dhoni has been appointed as the mentor of the team for the T20 World Cup and the former skipper was seen giving throwdowns in the nets on Friday.

“Revealing #TeamIndia’s latest throwdown specialist! @msdhoni| #T20WorldCup,” BCCI tweeted.

The Pakistan team also trained at the same time with the Indians. Babar Azam was seen giving a pep talk to his players ahead of the training session. It was worth noticing that two Pakistan flags were kept adjacent to the nets so as to inspire the players for the country. This is something new for any international cricket team.

India has a indomitable record against their arch rivals in ICC World Cups. The Men in Blue are yet to lose any match to Pakistan in World Cup events.
