XtraTime Web Desk: India’s first day of the practice match against Cricket Australia XI was washed out due to heavy rainfall. Both the teams had to wait it out for the whole day and not a single ball was bowled at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday. It was such a heavy rainfall that Kohli & co. didn’t make it to the stadium and they spent most of the times at the team hotel. Due to the rainfall the streets were flooded, beside that railways and other facilities got disrupted as well. Play was impossible at the Sydney Cricket Ground, where the tourists are scheduled to play a non-first class tour match against an under-strength representative side featuring just one international, D'Arcy Short. An extra day was added to this fixture with a CA XI after the BCCI requested Cricket Australia for more preparation ahead of the Test series. The test series will begin at Adelaide on December 6, and the next matches to be played in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney over the following month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjqFJ9q3Xr4
