Internet Desk: Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan has roped in co-sponsors ahead of the I League season. While East Bengal is all set to announce famous Italian shoe manufacturers Perf as their kit sponsor, Mohun Bagan has already tied up with reputed cement manufacturers MP Birla Cement. The official announcement of East Bengal’s co-sponsors name will be announced on Saturday. But according to sources, the Italian company will be associating them with Red and Golds for a period of three years starting with the forthcoming I League season. Although Kingfisher is still the main sponsor of the club, but a section of the club management is not happy with the amount they receive. The club is in talks with the Bangalore based company to hike the sponsorship amount in order to meet the high budget of the football team. East Bengal club is also in talks with a main sponsor who could replace Kingfisher, but the problem is the club management cannot take any drastic decision until and unless Kingfisher wishes to terminate its contract and pay off the dues. Mohun Bagan already had two co-sponsors in Neelkamal and Floral during the Kolkata league. Sony Norde and co. will spot the logo of famous cement manufacturing company MP Birla Cement on their jersey during the I League matches. MP Birla will be the fourth co-sponsor of the football team.The Green and Maroon also have Ripley as a co-sponsor. Meanwhile, East Bengal club has announced the prices of the tickets for the match against Aizawl FC. Tickets will be priced at Rs 70, 200 and 400 respectively.
