Xtra Time Web Desk: Virat Kohli struck an unbeaten 103 as India made it four wins out of four at the Cricket World Cup with a 7 wicket defeat of Bangladesh in Pune on Thursday.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to bat first. Despite a slow start, Bangladesh openers gained pace and scrored 100 runs in 17.2 overs.For Bangladesh, Tanzid Hasan 51 runs, Litton Das 66 runs, Mushfiqur Rahim 38 runs and Mahmudullah 46 runs scored important runs and led the team to a totals of 256/8 in 50 overs. For India, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah picked 2 wickets each, while Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav took one each.

India, set a target of 257 runs. Rohit and Shubman begin in attacking mode and hitting the Bangladeshi bowlers.Shubman Gill 53 runs and Rohit Sharma 48 runs impressed with the bat. Virat Kohli unbeaten after scoring a brilliant 48th hundred in the 50-over format. On the back of this knock, Kohli also became the fastest batter to get to 26,000 international runs. Apart from Kohli, KL Rahul also played well and remained unbeaten on the score of 34 runs. For Bangladesh, Hasan Mahmud and Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up one wicket and two wickets respectively.
