Kolkata: With the countdown has already started for the mega tournament, defending champions ATK will play their first practice game in Kolkata against I-League Neroca FC.
Kolkata’s very own Yuva BHarati Krirangan which hosted 10 matches of the recently concluded FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 including the mega finals will be the ground for this particular game. The ATK team has returned to Kolkata after conducting their pre-season at Dubai on Saturday. Today the team had their practice sessions and will also conduct their sessions tomorrow after which they will announce the skipper’s name in the afternoon.
The star forward of ATK and the renowned Irish forward Robbie Keane too practiced with the side but he is not staying the team in the same hotel. Keane is currently staying at a hotel located in EM Bypass while the rest of the team is staying at a hotel in New Town. Yesterday the rest of the footballers joined each other in the team bus while a separate provisions of a car was made fore Keane.
