Will Quess East Bengal take part in Super Cup?

XtraTime Web Desk: Quess East Bengal decided not to exit from the club alliance as the Red and Gold might withdraw their name from the Super Cup. The Board of Directors discussed over their participation in the Super Cup Tournament.

They sent a press note where Quess East Bengal wrote, “The East Bengal Nominees on the Board suggested that since an alliance of Clubs have already been formed, it would be unethical for us to come out of the Alliance.”

The Red and Gold officials also decided they will bid for the ISL only if the terms are financially acceptable.

Quess Chairman Ajit Issac said, “QEB made an alliance with other I League clubs and it would be ‘unethical’ to leave the alliance.”

The club alliance demanded to reschedule the Super Cup qualifying round but the AIFF declined that.

Though the East Bengal officials including Debabrata Sarkar, are not happy with the decision made by the Board members of Quess East Bengal.

www.xtratime.in talked with Debabrata Sarkar as he said, “Quess Chairman Ajit Issac said they are responsible to the club alliance. So they can’t participate in the Super Cup.”

“Now we have to think should we go with Guess or not. Executive committee members will meet soon and they will decide.”

According to the sources the club officials already met ATK officials as they don’t want Quess to look after the football affairs.
