Xtra Time Web Desk : Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya is proving his critics wrong with every outing in the ongoing IPL 2022 season. Hardik has taken the responsibility with both bat and ball ever since he has been handed over the captaincy role for the Gujarat franchise. The captaincy has brought the best out of him. The all-rounder is currently second in the race for the Orange Cap with 228 runs in five games and has also picked up four wickets.

Hardik is willing to promote himself in the batting order for Gujarat Titans and has also shared the new ball.

Most importantly Hardik looked agile on the field as he used to be. He has marshalled his troops as well. Despite being one of the ordinary sides on paper, Hardik has managed his troops quite efficiently and the results are there for everyone to see. They are placed on top of the points table with eight points in five games.

Hardik’s teammate in Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan mentioned that the team environment has been amazing under Hardik’s leadership and lauded him for his braveness and confidence levels while making decisions. He added that Hardik has been spot on with his decisions so far and noted that the 28-year-old has been stepping up in all three departments.

With Hardik Pandya displaying tremendous all-round skills, it is only time he walks into the Indian team set up again. And most importantly with this kind of form, Hardik Pandya is a certainty in India’s world cup squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia starting in October.
