Image Source: XtraTime[/caption] Kolkata: Kolkata giant East Bengal arrived at the city today after playing four warm-up games against the Indian Premier League sides. Deepak Singh and Mehtab Singh didn't return with the team. They were not a part of the squad for Goa match and that's why they will reach Kolkata via Hyderabad in a different flight. Team manager Alvito d'Cunha too haven't come with the squad as her mother is ill. East Bengal's newly signed Brazilian defender Eduardo Ferreira looked a bit upset about something today at the airport. After coming to Kolkata from Brazil just after a couple of days practice he left the city with his team to play the warm-up games. The club management haven't given him a proper place to stay but according to the sources they will provide him an apartment near Salt Lake, and that could be the reason for his behaviour. Though Eduardo said," I am happy with all the arrangements of my club." The team left the airport a bit haphazardly. The Red & Gold Brigade's star Japanese mid-fielder Katsumi Yusa was the first to come out from the lounge. Mahmoud Al Amna looked pretty happy with his team's performance."These practice matches will help us a lot for the I-League. From the first warm-up game we started to play better and better and we are getting our combination right." Gurwinder Singh said the same thing after getting out of the airport." We played a draw in the first game against Bengaluru FC but unfortunately we lost the second. We have a lot of new Indians as well as foreigners who has joined the team this season. So the results doesn't matter to us in these matches and getting the right team combination is our main target. But overall we have played a good brand of football," concluded Gurwinder. East Bengal will travel to Jamshedpur on the 8th November where they will face the new ISL side Jamshedpur FC on November 10.
