Xtra Time Web Desk: Why did Chennai Super Kings unfollow Ravindra Jadeja on Instagram? Is it the end of a fruitful association between the charismatic all rounder and the four times champions? Well, the latest development only goes to prove that all is not well between the all rounder and the Chennai franchise.

Chennai Super Kings captain and talisman MS Dhoni is believed to be behind the worsening relationship between Jadeja and CSK management. It started of with Jadeja being removed as CSK captaincy. Although it was officially stated that Jadeja has himself given up the captaincy. But insiders in the CSK camp feel the all-rounder was forced by the management to hand over the command to Dhoni. In addition, he was dropped from the team against Delhi Capitals in their last clash. 

True, the left hander had an injury to his rib during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. But the CSK management was not happy with Jadeja’s performance in the ongoing season.  In 10 matches, he has only amassed only 116 runs and took only five wickets, nowhere near the high standards he sets on the field.

Dhoni had himself talked about the captaincy with Jadeja last year. He had stressed on the importance on giving Jadeja enough time to be mentally prepared and get accustomed to the role.

Jadeja too has shown the respect to Dhoni as was seen when he bowed to Dhoni after his match-winning knock against MI. Furthermore, Jadeja also talked about how Dhoni communicates to the bowlers when he is fielding at the deep.

Many feel Jadeja has been made the scapegoat. Instead of backing Jadeja. Dhoni too the side of the franchise which did not go down well with the Sourashtra cricketer.

Suddenly, what happened that Chennai Super Kings have started unfollowing Jadeja on Instagram. Fans might have to wait for the actual truth to be revealed.
