Which foreigner has been show-caused by Mohun Bagan?

Kolkata: Mohun Bagan has reportedly show-caused their star foreigner Ansumana Kromah. The forward has been show-caused for the second time as of now. Kromah who reportedly didn’t carry his kits when he faced ISL side FC Goa, in Goa.

As it is Mohun Bagan had a bitter start to their new season as they failed to clinch the Calcutta Football League (CFL). However the only consolation came in the form of Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup which the Green and the Maroon brigade won. The Mariners had a disappointing start in the pre-season when they lost the practice games against FC Goa and FC Pune City.

Kromah was in Goa owing to his passport and visa problems when he was asked to play the pre-season friendly against FC Goa. However the forward said that he didn’t carry his necessary kits and thus couldn’t play the game as a result which peomted the Kolkata club to show-cause him.

This is not the first time that Kromah has been show-caused by the Mohun Bagan management. Last season he was show-caused after reportedly participating in an amateur tournament. As of now the club officials are awaiting Kromah’s response and further action will be undertaken once the player’s answer his received by the officials.
