When Kuldeep Yadav had an argument with Virat Kohli on favorite footballer

Xtra Time Web Desk: Most of the current Indian cricketers are crazy about international football and footballers. Indian captain Virat Kohli is a huge fan of Christiano Ronaldo and Portugal. Indian ODI vice captain Rohit Sharma is a big supporter of La Liga giants Real Madrid. Pace spearhead Japrit Bumrah is an ardent fan of Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahamovic. Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav is an admirer of Brazilian superstar Neymar while his favourite football club is Barcelona.

Like any other rival fans, the cricketers often get involved in arguments during their leisure time. Kuldeep recently revealed how he once got into an argument with Virat over who is the best footballer – Ronaldo or Messi. During the show Spicy Pitch, Kuldeep revealed, “The first football match I saw was Brazil vs Spain in 2012, in which Neymar was playing. I saw him for the first time, and I thought he is a great player. His quality and skill level was too good. He is my favorite player since then. Many people don’t like him. Me and captain Virat Kohli argue a lot over this because he is a Ronaldo fan.”

Kuldeep’s favorite football club is Barcelona. “Yes, absolutely. My favorite club is FC Barcelona. Once, Ronaldo scored a hat-trick for Portugal. So, Kohli came to me and he was showing me a video. That evening, Messi also scored a hat-trick as well, so I showed that to him and said ‘look at this’,” he said.

And the two were involved in a friendly banter and argument.
