What did AIFF decide on the future of Abinas Ruidas?

Abinas Ruidas
Kolkata:
The all awaited verdict by The All India Football Federation, regarding former East Bengal winger Abinas Ruidas once again got a stumble, as the AIFF decides to wait a bit before announcing the final verdict.

Although it is almost certain and imminent that Abinash would be playing in ISL as the club is apparently unwilling to take in. Though AIFF Secretary Kushal Das told www.xtratime.in , “We have forwarded the opinions of both the club and the IFA Secretary. We will wait if the player mutually solves the issue with the club. If they don’t, then we might call another Players’ Status Committee meeting to take the final decision.”

However before the meeting t place, IFA Secretary Utpal Ganguli and AIFF Secretary Kushal Das held a meeting to discuss about the above issue in Delhi where the Status Committee meeting followed after that.

On the other hand, Mr Das has stated that they have received three bid papers for the newly interested clubs for the I-League. The three teams are from Kerala, Gujarat and Bengaluru. Though the federation has still not decided how many new teams they will take for the league.
