XtraTime Web Desk- ATK Mohun Bagan’s coach Antonio Lopez Habas was disappointed after his team lost 2 points against Hyderabad FC on Friday.
In the post match conference Habas said that he and his boys deserve to win today. “I think we have played better in attack than any other matches in this season but couldn’t score. Today we lose the match in one stupid move. One penalty. I think we deserve the victory today”.
Habas then explained why Tiri wasn’t available in today’s match. “We have problem with the injury situation. We can’t have injuries in foreign players. It’s very important to keep them fit. Now we have to recover. I think the team played a good match today”.
Habas is very happy with the performance of his defenders. “I can remember only 1 situation where the opponent shoot in the goalpost. I don’t remember one save by my goalkeeper. Normal behaviour for the defensive line. I think we were better in attack today”.
Habas then confirmed that Javi “needs 10 more days to recover”. He is also very happy with the kind of chemistry Manvir Singh and Roy Krishna is sharing up front.
Even after so many chances, ATK Mohun Bagan is not scoring enough goals. Justifying that Habas said, “We need more time. We need more time to find balance between attack and defence. Goa is a good opponent and we have to prepare the team to win”.
Even after just getting 1 point from last 2 matches, Habas asks the fans to calm down and said, “Even in the last season ATK FC had the same number of points after 5 games”.
