Watch: Virat makes a hilarious appearance on Chahal TV

XtraTime Web Desk: India beat Bangladesh at the Edgbaston to make it to the semifinal of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England & Wales. After the win the fans were seen celebrating at the streets of Birmingham. The team’s ace wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal too looked in relax mood while interviewing team’s new opening batsman KL Rahul. Chahal first asked him about the partnership he shared with Rohit Sharma .

“The wicket was not as good and easy as Rohit Sharma displayed it to be. He is in great form and has scored 400 runs. Somebody like him only could bat on this wicket. So I only had to play second fiddle and I am happy that our partnership crossed the hundred run mark.”

When asked about the innings, Rahul said, “I have learnt in the last one-two years that if I have to consistently perform for the team, I’ll have to adapt according to every wicket. In the last two-three matches, in the conditions we have played, in Southhampton, in Manchester and in Edgbaston, the wicket was slow, so initially taking time to settle was important, according to me.

“If I would get set, I can later make runs. I knew that the firepower was there so initially, I can take a little bit of time and that is my rule and accordingly, I am building my innings and with every innings, I am trying to learn to get better”.

During the interview surprisingly India skipper Virat Kohli entered in the frame asking for Rahul. He voice could be listened in the background saying,“Mujhe kyu bulaya? (Why did you call me)

Chahal immediately tells the cameraman, to focus on Kohli and said, “Puri koshish kar rahe hai Chahal TV me ghusne ki. Mein ne inhe gussa liya fir bhi”. (He is trying his level best to make an appearance in Chahal TV).

Kohli quickly responds saying, “Mujhe aana nahi hai, mujhe isne (Rahul) bulaya tha” (I do not want to come, Rahul had called me).

Chahal looked towards the camera and said, “Ye scheme hai Chahal TV mein aane ki. Kaisi tadap hoti hai logo ko Chahal TV pe anne ki”. (This is just a scheme to appear on Chahal TV. People are so restless to appear on my channel).
